The Bush Master knife is a cross between a Kukri and a Golok knife that I have designed to fit in a pack and have good heavy chopping ability. The forward sweep of the blade gives a little mechanical advantage when chopping and the ergonomic shaped handle makes it comfortable to use.
The blade is 7 1/2 inches long (190mm) and has a variable grind along it’s length. The last half of the blade has an edge akin to an axe for chopping whereas the first half is slight more like a heavy knife and can handle delicate tasks like feather sticks. The six inch handle (152mm) can be choked up for feather sticks or held at full length for chapping or brush clearing.
The steel is 5mm thick O1 tool steel.
*Price is for O1 blade and Stock Hardwood Handles.
